The EDCTP Knowledge Hub Data Management Portal is a structured online resource designed to ensure that data management is fully considered and planned throughout the life of a research project, with particular relevance to clinical studies in sub‑Saharan Africa and other low‑resource settings.

• Practical guidance on data management systems, and on how to organise and structure study data.
• Best practices covering data capture, data entry, data processing, data monitoring, and preparation of data for analysis, sharing and archiving, including “prepare to share” steps embedded throughout the portal.A linked “Resources” section offering an extensive, searchable and filterable library of guides, short videos and learning materials on data management topics.
